Hello & Welcome to our blog!
We explored the artwork of Pablo Picasso today and talked about how he used lots of different shapes in his pictures. We discussed what realistic art and abstract art is. Picasso created abstract cubist art. After looking at many of his colourful portraits, we decided to create our own. Everyone in the class drew their own self portrait and broke the face down in to different shapes that they could add bright colours to. We used oil pastels and wax crayons to add bright, strong colour. All the children's artwork is featured above. Well done Rowan class. It was lots of fun!
